Oyster House Hotel - The Mumbles

We had a satisfactory breakfast.

Well presented hotel, the facilities were amazing. The breakfast was satisfactory, had a huge variety of options and the food was amazing. The room with a view. That venue was in a particularly good location, very close to the sea.

Nothing.

I had such great days staying at this brand-new hotel. I got a well decorated room with a work desk, multi-channel television, and a seating area. In general the service was welcoming.

Seaside balcony access was fantastic, but check-in was chaotic.

I really enjoyed the comfort of the room with the crispy clean sheets and the fantastic sea view that was a lovely sight to wake up to, making my weekend strolls to Underhill Park easy since it's just a short walk away.

Check-in process needs organization to avoid confusion!!! Clear communication about food availability is essential!!! Improve air conditioning to enhance comfort!!! Consider adding a vertical grab rail for safety!!! Parking difficulty might be resolved!!!

The overall vibe felt a bit soulless, resembling a restaurant with bedrooms tacked on rather than a hotel experience. Parking posed a challenge, often requiring frequent top-ups, which might irritate guests. The air conditioning struggled during warmer days, potentially leading to discomfort for some. There were issues with the check-in process being conducted at the bar, causing unnecessary delays.

The breakfast was to die for! Fresh croissants and the plant-based yogurt parfait made my day 🌞. The room was cozy, but the bed was a bit too soft for my liking.

Just had a delightful stay at this fab hotel in the Mumbles! 🌊 the fresh sandwiches nearby, especially at Papi's Pizzeria, were absolutely banging, and the breakfast chef truly deserves a round of applause for whipping up the best brekkie! My room was stunning with a lovely sea view, but a cheeky aircon hum kept us awake at night-bit of a bummer. Still, a top-notch spot I'd revisit in a heartbeat! 🍽️✨.

The design of the room was striking, with a modern aesthetic that caught my eye immediately. The bathroom was spacious and included high-quality products that enhanced my stay.

The location, while convenient, had some noise from the nearby cocktail bar that could be heard at night.

We had a lovely experience kicking back on the sun terrace after a dip in the pool, and the room with the sea view was fine. There are plenty of cozy lounge spots by the beach for those lazy days in the sun. The only downside was the noise from the air conditioning fans at night, but it didn't ruin our stay overall. 🌊

I loved how close we were to Bracelet Bay, just over 1 km away, perfect for a picturesque walk along the shore, and the good Mumbles Hill Local Nature Reserve provided a lovely escape into nature without straying too far from the heart of the action. The room was very comfortable with a great view.
